The White River Campground sits in a stand of mature cedar along the banks of the White River at an altitude of 4,000 feet. The campgrounds are approximately 8 miles from the popular California Hot Springs. Six people per site including children This is bear country, food must be stored in approved containers There is a long winding road to the campground This is a remote location with no nearby services Area roads are steep with switchbacks Off-road vehicles are not permitted in the campground In accordance with standard industry practices, Sequoia Recreation will be assessing a $7 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
