Tyee Campground is situated between the Pacific Coast and the city of Roseburg, Oregon. Perched on the banks of the Umpqua River, its location appeals to avid anglers and water sport enthusiasts. The name, Umpqua, is a surviving term of the Native American Umpqua language, and translates to "thundering waters," "satisfied," or "across the waters." There are 15 individual site at Tyee Campground. Sites 1- 10 are first-come first-served. Sites 11-15 are available to reserve between May 15 and September 15 Campground is open outside the identified reservation date range There are no hook-ups available at the campsites Campground hosts are on-site Firewood is available for $5/bundle Check-in is at 1 pm. Check-out time is 11 am Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash within the campground Additional vehicles are $4 per night Excessive noise and drunkenness will not be tolerated
