About

Trimmer Campground is a small facility on the shore of Pine Flat Lake in central California. Pine Flat Lake spans 20 miles in length and boasts 67 miles of shoreline. The lake, formed in 1954 with the completion of the Pine Flat Dam on the Kings River, is a recreation oasis for the area. Visitors can fish, boat, swim, hike and hunt from the facility, and several other activities can be accessed within a short drive. The campsite fee includes parking for a maximum of two vehicles. Any additional vehicles parked within the campground loop must be registered with an occupied campsite, and may be required to pay an additional fee of $5.00 per night. These fees may be collected by a Park Ranger (cash or check only) at the time of registration. Many campsites will not accommodate more than two vehicles. All visiting vehicles (not staying overnight) will be required to pay the day use fee of $5.00 per day at the self-pay fee station at the top of the boat ramp, and will be required to park in areas outside of the campground loop. Due to low lake levels, activities such as swimming, fishing, boating, jet skiing, and overall lake access may not be available at this recreation area and campground. Please contact the Park Headquarters Office at 559-787-2589 for more information and current lake conditions.
