About
Situated in one of the most scenic areas on the Oregon coast, Sunset Bay State Park features beautiful sandy beaches protected by towering sea cliffs. The park has 29 full hookup, 34 electrical, 66 individual tent sites and two group tent areas, as well as 8 rustic yurts. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Many sites are difficult to back into due to the pad orientation and existing obstacles. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. Due to COVID-19 impacts and budget reductions, there is a significant impact to our services. All shower facilities are closed at the coastal parks at this time. No walk-in camping is allowed. For other reduced services, please visit the park website at stateparks.oregon.gov Remember only one vehicle stay is included with standard camp fees. Only one extra vehicle allowed at each campsite. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is $7.00. Travel trailers: be sure to take into consideration the length of the truck towing your trailer. Some sites may not accommodate an extra vehicle. There is no overflow vehicle parking available at Sunset Bay. Extra vehicle policy strictly enforced. An additional campsite may be rented, if available upon arrival. If you reserve a yurt, please look for your access combination in the confirmation letter, immediately following the DIRECTIONS to the park.
