Squaw Lakes Campground is nestled in the deep shade of a mixed-conifer forest on the banks of Squaw and Little Squaw Lakes. The facility provides tent-only campsites that are reachable via foot trails. The unique, remote setting offers visitors stunning scenery and access to a multitude of recreational opportunities. Campsites are hike-in, accessible only by foot trails. Vehicle parking is outside the main gate, and in parking lot area. No parking at individual campsites. Each campsite is allowed 1-vehicle parking, each additional vehicle $5/night. Campers are advised to check-in at the Applegate Lake General Store at Hart-Tish Park. The store is located 0.75 miles past the dam on the left side of Upper Applegate Rd. Reservation confirmation letter must be available to Camp-Host at all times. Routine checks are made, and failure to provide documentation could result in early departure. Small bear-proof food-storage bins are provided, please keep clean. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Please be considerate of other campers and keep pets under control at all times. A trash can is provided at each site. In the off-season, please pack out all trash. When your first camping night is a Friday or Saturday night, a two-night minimum reservation is required. Over holiday periods, there is a two-night camping minimum. Don’t Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination.
