About

At an elevation of 1,604 ft., Southshore Campground is located on the south shore of Detroit Lake, a little west and south of Pretty Knob Island. Campsites are surrounded by towering trees, creating a secluded atmosphere. Visitors enjoy exploring the area and discovering osprey hovering above or nesting in the trees. The campground lies in the Willamette National Forest, which stretches along the Cascade Range. This is Southshore on Detroit Lake in central Oregon. It is not one of the several other South Shores located throughout Oregon. Is this the location you want? No hookups available. This facility has first-come, first-served sites. Limit 1 vehicle per single sites; a fee will be charged for additional vehicles that may fit on the site. You must stay in the site that you book. Site swapping is not allowed.
