Silver Strand Campground Information and Regulations: Your California State Park Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). For those campers using the park’s dump station, please do NOT dump disposable wipes, sanitary napkins, and any hard solid objects down the RV Dump Station drain from your holding tank. The RV Dump Station is served by a Lift Station pump. These foreign objects cause pump failure, leading to downtime, closure, and increased costs. Only dump sewage waste and biodegradable paper.
CAMPING INFORMATION: Silver Strand State Beach is a site specific park. Campers will reserve a specific site when making a reservation. The campsite you reserve will be yours during your entire stay. NO TENT CAMPING! RVs ONLY. Per Coastal Commission regulations, vehicles that are not fully self-contained will be turned away. A self-contained RV consists of a permanent built-in sink and toilet with enclosed systems and holding tanks. Tent trailers must have a minimum of a built-in sink with enclosed system and portable toilet. Beach restrooms are for day-use visitors. A campsite cannot be used solely for the purpose of parking non self-contained vehicles. An RV must occupy a campsite. Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash and are not allowed on the beach, in the tunnels, or on the bay side of the park. Reservations available All Year.

There is a 30 night limit per calendar year. Fees include entry for 1 self-contained RV and 1 legally towed vehicle, or towing vehicle and trailer. Permits for towed motor vehicles may not be switched to non-towed motor vehicles at any time during stay. Additional vehicles will be charged a fee per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). Check-In Time is 2:00pm.
