Prosser Family Campground is located on the picturesque Prosser Reservoir within the Tahoe National Forest, 10 minutes from Truckee, Calif. Visitors enjoy the area for its boating, canoeing, fishing and abundant hiking and off-road trails. Boat launching from the campground is not permitted. Off-highway vehicles must be trailered to and from designated OHV routes. Recreational riding is not allowed in the campground.  BBQs only refers to fire pits with BBQ grate as an amenity, not stand-alone BBQs. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
