Pinnacles Campground is located in the unique Pinnacles National Park, 32 miles south of Hollister, California. The park encompasses 26,000 acres of spectacular rock formations and remnants of an extinct 23 million-year old volcano. Hiking and rock climbing are very popular activities in Pinnacles, as is watching for the majestic California condor overhead. Pinnacles National Park is a nesting place for the endangered soaring bird, the largest in North America. Please note that the Annual Pass is only good for entrance fees into the Pinnacles National Park, not for camping. Note: The America the Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass does not provide discounts on camping. The pass is only valid for the entrance fee into the park. Customers using the Interagency Access or Senior Pass for a camping fee discount are required to present the pass and one form of identification to confirm the discount upon arrival. Campground Store Office Hours: Mon-Thurs., 3 p.m.-4 p.m.; Fri., Noon-5 p.m.; Sat-Sun, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Campground fees do not include the per-vehicle entry fee to the park, charged upon arrival RV sites have hookups at 120 volts with 30-amp service; Bring appropriate adapters if needed; Tent and group sites have no hook-ups Swimming pool open from April 1 through Sept. 30 No gathering of firewood. Three tents with two vehicles or one vehicle and one trailer or motor home.
