Oak Bottom Campground is located on a gently sloping hillside in the expansive Six Rivers National Forest in northwest California. It offers a peaceful camping environment, far from road noise and other distractions. This is not the Oak Bottom Campground at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Call (530) 359-2269 to make reservations at Whiskeytown. There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups. Some sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees will be collected for additional vehicles. Extra parking is available a short walking distance from the campground. Oak Bottom Campground is currently experiencing a greater amount of bears in the area. Visitors are required to comply with the following to ensure a safe and undisturbed visit: Never leave food items unattended. Please keep all food and toiletries stored in airtight containers. Properly dispose all garbage in provided bear-proof receptacles. Do not store food in your tent or sleeping bag. Do not feed the bears.
