You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).
Due to the threat of the Goldspotted Oak Borer spreading throughout San Diego County, no oak firewood will be allowed into Mount San Jacinto State Park(Idyllwild/Stone Creek). Wood can be purchased at the park or you can bring other species of firewood, such as pine or eucalyptus. For more information, contact park staff at (951) 659-2607.
No group camping allowed. Only 8 people, including children, will be allowed per site at any given time. This will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with park rules may result in eviction from campground. Group camping is available at Silverwood Lake & Lake Perris in the Inland Empire District. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites).
Pay Showers: Pay showers available at Idyllwild campground as of May 1, 2010. You will need to purchase tokens at the Ranger Station.
