This campground is on a river bed called Mallard Marsh that leads into Hosmer Lake. Commonly referred to as the Hosmer Lake Campgrounds, South and neighboring Mallard Marsh each have a loyal following of campers who return every year. Mallard March Campground provides opportunities for fly-fishing as well as access to trails for hiking and horseback riding. – The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle, any extra vehicles will be subject to an extra vehicle fee at the campground. – This facility is pet friendly so long as animals are picked up after and kept on their leashes. – This facility has no water so campers need to bring their own supply. – Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails – Click here for more information about Deschutes National Forest.
