Little Beaver Campground is located on the south shore of Little Grass Valley Reservoir, approximately four miles from the town of La Porte, CA. This campground is the largest campground at the reservoir and is adjacent to a swimming beach, boat launch ramp, amphitheater and trail. The facility is open from approximately Memorial Day through early November, but is subject to delayed opening or early closing due to snow. The facility is located at approximately 5,000 feet in elevation; summer evenings may be cold, especially early and late in the season. The area has very poor cell phone coverage, communications may be challenging. The nearest pay phone is located at the La Porte Store four miles away.
