Lassen RV Resort in McArthur CA, is a quiet, friendly camping resort above California’s Fall River Valley. Pine, oak and juniper forests stretch between lakes and rivers near our 68 acre Lassen County campground, making this section of northeastern California famous for activities like fishing, golf, hunting, hiking, biking and bird watching. Join us for Northern California camping at its very best as you make day trips to see the amazing Burney Falls or to fish on Hat Creek, Fall River or many of the other creeks and lakes in the area. Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen are both within 60 miles of the park. Be sure to visit Lava Beds National Monument where you can visit Skull Cave with wide open spaces and year-around ice! Lassen RV Resort is conveniently set off Hwy. 299, just outside the town of McArthur in a pretty stretch of countryside. It is only minutes from both family & fine dining. We’re nearby the town of Fall River Mills, not far from Redding and Red Bluff, CA. Within forty-five miles of our park, you’ll find attractions like Lassen Volcanic National Park, Ash Creek Wildlife Area and Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park.

From Interstate 5, take Hwy 299 East from Redding for 80 miles. From Hwy 299, go past the town of McArthur 7½ miles. Take Old Highway Road South and you will see Lassen RV Resort about 1.3 miles down the road, on the right at 548-335 Old Highway Road. Our driveway is at the start of the tree line on the right – look for our billboard sign.
Camp-California is concerned about the health and safety of our campers and adventurers. While camping and outdoor activities do offer the ability to self-isolate, we are encouraging all California residents and travelers to shelter in place until further notice. We recognize that getting outdoors is what you do best, and we will be here to reacquaint you with nature once we're cleared for adventure again!
Most private parks are open with 14-day minimums. If you are a full-time RVer looking to shelter in place, a member of the traveling medical profession, or a utility worker looking for a park please call our office and we can connect you with an appropriate location.
