LaPine State Park is located among lodgepole and ponderosa pines along the Deschutes River. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. Naturalist programs are provided most weekends from June to Labor Day. If you prefer to drive, there are many unique attractions within an easy day's drive in the central Oregon area. A large day use area is located a short drive from the campground on the Deschutes River. A portion of the day use area can be reserved. A log cabin meeting hall is available to reserve. During the dates of May 1 through September 30, the meeting hall is only available to campers reserving a minimum of 5 sites and/or cabins. The meeting hall reservation dates must be within the dates of your other reservations to qualify. Parking is limited for non-reservation visitors of campers. Please call the park to discuss meeting hall events and parking before reserving. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. ADA / Universal access may be limited due to weather conditions. From October 1 through mid-April, water hookups are turned off at campsites and the RV dump station. Water is available at site 36 for filling containers and RV tanks. The restrooms, showers, and deluxe cabins have water year round. Electric and sewer hookups are functional year round, sewer hookups at sites and the RV dump station may be inaccessible due to snow.
