Laguna Campground is a great mountain getaway just one hour east of San Diego, California in the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area. Campers can enjoy cooler temperatures, unique natural areas and an extensive trail system at this mountain facility from summer through early fall. This campground has first-come, first-served sites Sites 3, 5, 6 and 8 are home to a population of endangered butterflies; these sites are restricted to 2 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site; $9.00 fee will be collected on-site beginning with third vehicle. Pets are allowed. Due to local temperatures, showers are open from mid-May through early October Campers arriving more than more than 24 hours after start of reservation must contact the campground or reservation will be cancelled.
