Kachess Campground sits just off the forested northwest shore of Kachess Lake in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Set in dense old-growth conifer forest and surrounded by high mountains, Kachess Campground is considered one of the most beautiful sites in the Cle Elum Ranger District. Water levels in Kachess Lake and Little Kachess Lake vary during the summer First-come, first-served sites may be available Off-road vehicles are not permitted Reserved campsites will be held until check-out time (noon) on the day following your scheduled arrival. No Shows will forfeit the first night’s camping use fee plus a $20.00 service fee is applied and the campsite may also be opened up for rebooking. The campground may be full and no accommodations may be available after a no show is processed. Campsites have a max occupancy for vehicles and campers. Vehicles must fit in the designated parking spot. Tents must remain within campsite footprint. Single Site Max Occupancy – 6 People, 2 Vehicles (2nd Vehicle Charged $8.00 Daily) Double Site Max Occupancy – 12 People, 4 Vehicles (3rd and 4th Vehicles Charged $8.00 each Daily) Extra Vehicle Fee will be collected at the campground Citations may be issued for exceeding Max Occupancy and campsite footprint Pets must be leashed in the campground at all times Click here for more information about Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Don’t Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species.
