Research and reserve your next California campsite today! Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the location of two marathons that occur within the first three weekends of May and Oct. every year. These marathons close two of the main roads through the park for up to 6 hours. For more information or dates of these events, please call the park.
iscount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).
Due to a public health and safety concern, the propane lights will no longer be lit in the restrooms at the Williams Grove Group Camps. Please bring a lantern or a flashlight when using the facilities.
Individual campsites – Maximum allowable stay is thirty (30) nights per calendar year per park, with no more than fifteen (15) of these nights permitted during the summer season (05/01 through 09/30). Group and Environmental campsites – Maximum allowable stay is 14 nights per calendar year per park, with no more than seven (7) nights of consecutive use per visit. After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached, no person or equipment may re-enter the same park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least 48 hours. Humboldt is now site specific for reservations. You will select you site at the time your reservation is made. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). Please note and honor the maximum amount of vehicles allowed for each campsite. All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking spur. Pets are welcome at the park. However, they must be on leash at all times and are never allowed on trails or in undeveloped areas or Environmental sites.
