Hood Park is located on Lake Wallula in eastern Washington. The lake is formed by McNary Lock and Dam on the Mid-Columbia River. Lewis and Clark camped two miles downstream at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers, which is now the location of Sacajawea State Park. Visitors enjoy camping, fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking and swimming. Sites do not have water hookup; you can fill tanks at dump station Only stand alone hammocks allowed Alcohol beverages prohibited Park gate closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorized/battery operated scooters and toy cars prohibited Pets must be restrained at all times Campground check-in time is after 2 p.m. (no exceptions) All campers must stop and check-in at gate house before proceeding into the campground Don’t Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site.
