Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). Henry Cowell is site specific. You will select your site at the time you make your reservation.

Be aware this is NOT Henry Coe State Park. Henry W. Coe is primarily a wilderness park; hot and dry in the summer. Henry Cowell is known for its Redwoods and is in the Santa Cruz Mts. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). Possession of open containers and consumption of alcoholic beverages is limited to the reserved campsite.  Occupancy by the same persons, equipment, or vehicles of the Santa Cruz District’s camping facilities is limited to a total of 30 days in any calendar year. These facilities include: Sunset SB campground, Manresa SB campground, Seacliff SB campground, New Brighton SB campground, Henry Cowell Redwoods SP campground, Big Basin Redwoods SP campground, and Portola Redwoods SP campground. There is no dump station or RV water fill-up available at Henry Cowell.
