Gerle Creek Campground is nestled on the banks of the Gerle Creek Fork among a lush forest of hardwoods. The area provides lots of opportunity for fishing and water play. Hiking and biking are also popular. Double sites can hold four vehicles, with extra vehicle fees on the third and fourth. A trailer or RV plus a tow vehicle counts as the two-vehicle maximum for a single site even though it is allowed with the price of the site.
