Historic Farewell Bend State Recreation Area is located on the banks of the Snake River's Brownlee Reservoir offering fishing, water skiing and boating. Camping: Cabins available for reservations March 1st through November 30th. A bathroom with showers will be available. Potable water only available mid April through mid October for campsites AND Cabins. March and April, campsites are first come, first served. May through September, reservations are available and recommended. October and November, campsites are first come, first served. December through February, the park is closed. The use of fireworks of any kind is not allowed at Farewell Bend. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. Please note that Farewell Bend State Park is located in Eastern Oregon just across the Idaho border along the Snake River. The other Farewell Bend campground is a federal park in Southwest Oregon. Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. Due to fluctuations of the reservoir, it is advised that you check the water level prior to making your reservation or arriving at the park.
