With all campsites located near the shoreline of glacially carved Lake Quinault, visitors are sure to enjoy the beautiful shoreline and interpretive opportunities in the area. From old-growth trees in the surrounding rain forest to excellent fishing, Falls Creek Campground's location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. In accordance with standard industry practices, There will be a $5 additional vehicle fee on the ”second vehicle” in each single family campsite, and on the ”third and fourth vehicle” in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. Bears and other animals frequent the area; use appropriate food storage containers. If campers have questions or someone has taken their reservation site please come into the ranger station on South Shore Road for assistance. Off-road vehicles are prohibited on the Olympic National Forest. Pets must be on a leash 6 ft. or less in length and under control within the campground and developed recreation sites. Chainsaw use and hunting are prohibited in the area’s developed recreation sites. Please keep boats clean, drained and dry, to avoid transport or introduction of aquatic invasive species. The Lake belongs to the Quinault Indian Nation and boat inspections must be completed by them before entering with your watercraft.
