Research and reserve your next California campsite today! Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). Be sure to visit the new Moro Campground at Crystal Cove, this coastal campground is the first built by California State Parks in over 20 years, and offers stunning coastal views, great access to the beach, miles of hiking trails and much more – all right in the middle of Orange County! Loss of beach sand from high tidal events and large waves can cause certain portions of the campground to flood, usually the beachfront campsites. Some non-beachfront sites can be impacted as well. If you suspect there may be problems with flooding, please call the park for more current information at (949) 496-6172. Check in time is 2PM. Very little to no shade in majority of sites. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). Doheny is reservable Year-Round. Silver Strand SB is now on the reservation system. If campsites are not available at Doheny for the dates of your stay please check Silver Stand’s web page for available campsite. Water related activities such as as swimming, surfing, etc. that involve body contact, may be restricted due to water quality. Dogs are allowed to the campground. They must be leashed and attended to by an adult at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time. There is no extra charge for bringing a dog and no proof of vaccination is required.
