About
Cow Meadow Campground is situated where Snow Creek and the Deschutes River flow into the northeast part of Crane Prairie Reservoir. Just off the Cascade Lakes Highway, the large grassy meadow in the camp provided the facility with its name but it's the unique location that provides guests with outstanding fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply. This facility is pet friendly so long as animals are picked up after and kept on their leashes. Many sites are available by advanced reservations and some sites are available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. Single site fees include 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. Any additional vehicles are subject to an extra vehicle fee on-site, space permitting. Extra vehicle fees are 1/2 the single site price and must be paid by cash or check on-site. Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails.
