Cove Group Campground is set an elevation of 6,400 feet, just 18 miles from Lake Hume in California’s Sequoia National Forest. This is bear country; visitors should follow safety precautions and store food in bear-proof containers. Vehicles are limited to 20 cars or 10 RVs. Off-road vehicles are not permitted in the campground. Camping fee does not include park entrance fee. Due to the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Help protect our forests by purchasing or collecting firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
