Clackamas Lake Historic Cabin gives campers an old-fashioned cabin experience with its well-preserved features, including a massive rock chimney, knot-free interior paneling and hand-wrought iron work. It provides access to a number of outdoor recreation opportunities as well as its namesake lake. The cabin remains locked; access codes will be sent in your confirmation letter and should be brought with you to the site. Horses, domestic livestock and pets are not allowed on the premises. Dogs may not be left in cars on the premises. Violators will be evicted and cited under federal regulations. Parking is limited to four vehicles; driveway is 80 feet long and 10 feet wide Candles are prohibited within the cabin RVs are not allowed on site Please contact the Zigzag Ranger District prior to departing for the cabin, to check on any restrictions or conditions, such as fire or road closures, weather or storms that may affect the quality of your visit There is no smoking allowed in the cabin. Visitors must clean the facility before leaving. This is a federally owned historic cabin. Renters may be cited for damage to the facilities. Don’t Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination.
