Champoeg park has a year round campground, yurts, cabins and a group RV area with meeting hall. Group tent areas, historic outdoor pavilion and inside building, and picnic areas are available for the summer season May 1 through October 31. Oak Grove shelter #4 and the outdoor Pavilion area are open year round. Park has a visitor center, four miles of paved bike trails, 1.5 miles of hiking and nature trails. There is a courtesy boat and fishing dock (no launching). Champoeg has no designated swim area. Unlicensed motorized vehicles are not permitted in State Parks. Year round day use parking fee. An OPRD day use permit or annual permit must be displayed in each vehicle. MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS YOUR CAMPING NEEDS Before reserving, please become familiar with the particulars of your chosen site, including the size of the tent pad area and the type of equipment that you may bring to the park. Site details and tent pad sizes can be viewed online by clicking on the site name. Only one vehicle is included with standard camp fees. A second vehicle kept at a campsite (or alternate parking area) is subject to a nightly Extra Vehicle fee. The nightly Extra Vehicle fee is currently $7.00. If you reserve a cabin or a yurt, please look at the end of your confirmation letter for details, and instructions to obtain your key when you get to the park.
