About

Boyington Mill Campground is located on the Little Truckee River, just 15 minutes from Truckee. Visitors enjoy the area for its fishing, abundant hiking opportunities and off-road trails. Stampede and Boca reservoirs are nearby for boating and swimming. Drinking water is not available; campers must bring their own supply. Off-road vehicles can only be used to enter and exit the facility. Recreational riding is not allowed in the campground. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Truckee Ranger District (530) 587-3558 (voice), (530) 587-6907 (TDD). BBQs only refers to fire pits with BBQ grate as an amenity, not stand-alone BBQs. Not all sites have stand-alone BBQs but they all have pits with grates.

Don’t Move Firewood: Protect California’s forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
