About
Lake Sonoma’s Boat-In Sites are scattered around beautiful Lake Sonoma, only a 45-minute drive north of Santa Rosa and a two-hour drive from San Francisco. World famous vineyards and a land rich in history surround the lake, where visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring the area’s extensive trail network. Trails and campsites are located on steep hillsides; hazardous conditions may exist. There is no longer a requirement to check-in at the Visitor Center prior to going out to your boat-in campsite. In order to avoid having to pay a duplicate day use fee of $5.00 when you arrive at the park, please write your RESERVATION NUMBER on a sheet of paper, and place it on the dash board of your vehicle so that it is visible through your windshield. Do not write your name, dates of camping, or other personal information on the note paper. Children under 12 must wear life jackets onboard a vessel; the visitor center operates a free life jacket loaner program for young children. Reservations can be made for today and be made up to 6 month(s) in advance for single sites, 12 month(s) for group sites. Minimum 2 nights stay on a weekend and 3 nights stay on a holiday
