Bicentennial Campground is in an ideal location in the Marin Headlands surrounded by a grove of cypress trees. The campground is an ideal location for those wanting to camp near the city. Summer months tend to be foggy and cool so be prepared. A maximum of three guests per site. Guests may book three nights per year. Please remove (pack out) all of your trash. No pets are permitted with the exception of service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act. America the Beautiful passes do not cover camping fees. For more information, please call the Marin Headlands Visitor Center at (415) 331-1540. Only one campsite may be reserved per person per night. Public transportation to San Francisco is available on weekends and major holidays via MUNI Route 76X. Permits should be picked up at the Marin Headlands Visitor Center prior to your arrival to the campsite. Permits are available for pick-up 24/7.
