Badger Flats Group Camp sits in a quiet and isolated area along Rancheria Creek, at an elevation of over 8,000 feet in the High Sierra. The site sits on open and flat land shaded by fir trees and can accommodate up to 100 people and 35 vehicles. Maximum vehicle length is 35 feet. This campground can accommodate a maximum of 100 people. Check-in at Eastwood California Land Management office. No drinking water is provided at this campground. Bears inhabit the area; please keep food in approved bear-proof lockers. There are no showers or RV hookups This facility is operated by Sierra Recreation, A Division of California Land Management, and your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or on CLM’s website. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
