Started in 1994 with only three members the Santa Ynez Wine Country Association has grown to include 14 award-winning wineries. Dedicated to the creation of fine, hand-crafted wine, we invite you to visit our friendly tasting rooms located throughout the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Relax amidst our vineyards and the surrounding oak-studded hills as you sample our extraordinary varietals, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Merlot.
Directions: Just two and one half hours from Los Angeles and five hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, the Santa Ynez Valley is easily reached from Highway 101 at the Highway 154 or Highway 246 exits.
From Southern California: Take Highway –101 North to Highway-246 (at Buellton), turn right, travel for three miles to Solvang where five of our winery tasting rooms are located.
To visit wineries in the Los Olivos area travel past the exit for Highway-246, taking the next exit, Highway-154. Turn right at the off ramp and travel approximately two miles to this artist colony.
From Northern California: Take the Highway-154 exit, turn left over the bridge and travel approximately two miles to Los Olivos.
To visit our Solvang tasting rooms travel past the Highway-154 exit, taking the next exit, Highway –264 (Buellton). Turn left over the bridge and continue for three miles to the quaint Danish village of Solvang.

While camping and outdoor activities do offer the ability to self-isolate, we are encouraging all California residents and travelers to shelter in place until further notice. We recognize that getting outdoors is what you do best, and we will be here to reacquaint you with nature once we're cleared for adventure again!
Most private parks are open with 14-day minimums. If you are a full-time RVer looking to shelter in place, a member of the traveling medical profession, or a utility worker looking for a park please call our office and we can connect you with an appropriate location.
