About

Bridge Camp is a tent/equestrian campground and trailhead for one of the most popular trails to the Trinity Alps Wilderness. The campground stretches out along Stewart’s Fork of Trinity River with some campsites at the water’s edge. The campground is adjacent Stuart’s Fork Railhead and horse corrals. The two campsites closest to the Railhead are walk-ins. The campground is thickly wooded with Douglas fir and mixed deciduous trees. The hotfoot Bridge Camp Siphon is located here; it brought water from 1898 through 1914 to the LaGrange Hydraulic Mine.
