Right off 101, we are the closest recreational vehicle park to San Francisco–just 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. See San Francisco without a car… it’s so easy!
We are ideally located for sight-seeing of San Francisco, the Golden Gate National Recreational Area, Muir Woods, Pt. Reyes, Napa Valley and many other California sights.
Our park is a short 10-minute walk to the Bus and/or Ferry service into San Francisco.
Marin Park offers complete tourist information via bus/ferry for San Francisco and the surrounding areas. We’ve got all the information and maps to local sights right in the Marin Park office. And our super friendly managers, Jim & Sharron Ferguson, are informative and helpful. Pick up the Larkspur Ferry schedule in the office and we’ll remind you to be sure to obtain your free MUNI transfer from the vending machine next to the ferry ticket office – before you leave the Larkspur Ferry terminal!
The Larkspur Ferry will take you across the San Francisco Bay, past Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and arrive at Pier 1 in San Francisco. The Golden Gate Transit bus will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco.
If you find the Larkspur Ferry schedule is not flexible enough for your sightseeing needs, the other option is to walk to Golden Gate Bus stop: Walk south (left) out of the park to the pedestrian walkway (goes over the Freeway). Then walk south (left) ½ block to the Lucky Drive bus stop.
Want to know what’s going on in the City while you’re here? Ask at the office, we’ve got the information and we’ll check schedules for you and make recommendations too!
