March Meet

Just outside of Bakersfield in the town of McFarland sits the Auto Club Famoso Raceway. The concrete, ¼ mile track is best known for March Meet, the largest nostalgic drag in the world. For over 50 years the March Meet has brought together the top names in nostalgic drag racing. With 500 expected entries the meet is the largest nostalgic drag race in the world. Racers and spectators come from around the globe to see several classes of drags including nitro cars, funny cars, and top fuel dragsters. The four day event also includes a hot rod car show, swap meet and a vendors’ midway. The track offers year–round entertainment including a high school series and junior drags. There is plenty of parking for visitors as well as food concessions and souvenirs.
