Description
This multi-day telemark event is the largest of its kind in California, and perhaps the western US. Free heel skiers have the opportunity to learn from the top telemark instructors in the country with workshops and clinics. In the evening, the event offers entertainment, food and drink for festival goers to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. The Saturday night banquet features prizes, live music and dancing, a party not to be missed!

Description
Bear Valley Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. The resort offers year-round adventures for the outdoor lover. Winter offers downhill skiing, cross-country trails, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, dog sledding and more. With summer comes hiking and biking, plus rock climbing, river rafting and kayaking.
From the Bay Area
Take 580 east to 205 east to 120 east to 99 north to 4 east and continue to Bear Valley.
From the Central Valley
Take 99 north to 4 east and continue to Bear Valley.
From Sacramento
Take 99 south to 12 east to 49 south to 4 east and continue to Bear Valley.
From Lake Tahoe / Reno
Winter - (Ebbetts Pass closes): Take 80 west, 50 west, or 88 west from the greater Lake Tahoe basin, to 99 south to 4 east and continue to Bear Valley.
Summer – Take 4 west off of 88 at Woodfords and continue to Bear Valley.
