South Coast Repertory, Costa Mesa

Named by "TIME" Magazine as one of the top five repertory theaters in the United States, South Coast Repertory was founded in 1964 by David Emmes and Martin Benson who remain its artistic directors.

South Coast Repertory, winner of the 1988 Tony Award for Distinguished Achievement by a Regional Theatre, has commissioned and produced the world premieres of scores of new plays. South Coast Repertory has opened the Folino Theatre Center, its expanded three-theatre complex at 655 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa. Theatres include the 507-seat Segerstrom Stage, the 336-seat Julianne Argyros Stage and the 95-seat Nicholas Studio.
