California Science Center
Admission to Science Center permanent exhibition galleries is free. Admission prices for the IMAX Theater are based on age group, and discounts are available for groups of 15 or more people. Ticket prices also apply to three Science Center attractions: the High Wire Bicycle, the Motion-Based Simulator and the Ecology Cliff Climb. The California Science Center offers fun and informative permanent exhibits presented in interactive worlds. Through hands-on experiences in our galleries, you'll learn about human inventions and innovations, the life processes of living things and more. The Science Center also features fantastic special exhibits that change all the time, so visit often to find out what's new!The California Science Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Parking is $8 per car, $10 for buses or oversize vehicles (cash only).* To reach the parking structure, turn west into Exposition Park on 39th Street from Figueroa and follow the signs.
Directions: South of downtown Los Angeles, the California Science Center is located in historic Exposition Park, just two blocks west of the Harbor (110) Freeway at the Exposition Boulevard exit. Public transportation to the Science Center is also available.
