Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground is a premiere glamping destination nestled in the California Central Coast’s wine country in Buellton, CA. The resort offers a convenient location for visiting the quaint Danish town of Solvang and various local wineries but the truly unique elements of Flying Flags are the major improvements that have recently taken place. The grounds, amenities, and accommodations have been transformed into a one-of- a-kind destination for those interested in the more luxurious side of camping.
Our vintage Airstream and trailer rentals have become a popular option that encapsulates the glamping phenomenon while still staying true to the roots of RV camping. These retro road warriors have been updated to provide the comfort and convenience that many have come to expect in a modern hotel. Each has been equipped with amenities such as a flat panel cable TV, DVD player, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Toiletries are provided as well as brand new shower facilities modeled after high-end resorts.
For a truly unique glamping experience, try one of our new Safari Glamping Tents. Enjoy the great outdoors in a fully furnished and air-conditioned luxury tent complete with outdoor kitchen and king size bed. The safari village has its own fire pit and private bathrooms. Tents with bunk beds and two queens are also available.
Our cottages are another option for those without their own travel trailer. The standard cottages offer many of the comforts of home including full-size kitchens, private bedroom and restroom/shower, linens, towels, cookware & place settings. Our premium cottages add an additional dash of class by including a private yard, outdoor gas fire pit, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. All cottages also include a flat panel cable TV & DVD player. If you forgot to bring your own movies, complimentary DVD rentals are available at the gift shop. Pick up a bottle of local wine & enjoy with your movie.
The DVD rental library is only one of many amenities that are offered to all guests who stay at Flying Flags. Our recently renovated convenience store/snack bar is a convenient place to grab a treat or camping items you forgot to bring along. Our wine and beer bar provides you with options to help you unwind. Our on-site Campfire Café serves high quality American comfort food and hand scooped ice cream cones, allowing guests to grab a hearty meal without having to leave the resort.
Our aquatic area features a swimming pool, semi-private cabanas, splash zone, and two hot tubs. Nearby you will find a TV lounge, game room with pool and foosball tables, and a fitness center. The recreation does not stop there as Flying Flags also has our very own bocce ball and horseshoe courts, playground, and off-leash dog park.
Flying Flags has transformed but many more additions are on the horizon. A new family pool and splash play area are just two of the new features planned for the future. Visit www.flyingflags.com for future renovation and upgrade information.

It also has its own campground, the Pomona Fairplex KOA, which features 185 campsites, two rental cabins as well as on site amenities, including a swimming pool, spa and exercise room.
